I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting #MC for Spring. I received product samples to facilitate my review, however all opinions expressed are my own.
With the holidays upon us, everyone in my family is asking for the latest gadgets and tech devices to help them get through the winter season. We’ve really been enjoying the NETGEAR Wifi Hotspot, so I plan to get another one for my other family members soon.
One device I’ve really been enjoying these past few weeks has been the new LG G2 smartphone from Sprint. It’s one of the best smartphones I’ve used in a long time, and I’m really excited about it!
The first thing you’ll notice about the LG G2 is that there are button on the back of the phone. Not the side or front – the back! I was really hesitant about this feature at first, because it took a couple of days to get used to, but I love it now. It’s very easy to use and has a really good feel in your hands. The buttons on the back are the volume and power buttons. This offers a sleek and innovative design that I appreciate. This feature makes the LG G2 great for left-handed people as well! One neat thing about the power button is that you don’t even need to use it! You can just knock on the phone twice instead to turn it on or off. The KnockOn feature is really cool.
It has a 5.2″ full HD 1080p IPS display, a slim bezel for near edge-to-edge brilliance and rounded corners for in-hand comfort. The 2.26 GHz Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Quad-Core Processor makes this one lightening fast and able to handle multiple applications and windows running at once without running out your battery life. When I’m the go, I don’t have time to charge my phone every minute of every day. I like to charge it once while I’m asleep and hope that it will keep a full charge while I’m using it all day long, and the LG G2 is perfect for that! The battery is not removable like on most models, however, so that is something to keep in mind.
I’m also really loving the 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization technology. It allows me to capture sharp and detailed photos and high-definition videos to make the experience even more enjoyable. The camera features scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass to protect the lens. The LG G2 camera shows true colors and there is usually no overexposure or underexposure for that matter. It takes great picture with no blur even in dark settings. There is also a front-facing camera that makes taking selfies even easier.
One of my favorite features of the LG G2 is the guest mode. It allows me to share my phone with my toddler when he wants to watch Paw Patrol or Bubble Guppies by letting me pre-set access and restrictions so I can keep my content safe. With my other phone, if it’s not password protected, Zach will just go through all of my apps and ruin the settings on my screens, delete apps and sometimes will post pictures to my social media without me noticing until it’s too late! The guest mode makes it easier for me to share my phone without worry.
Sprint has recently conducted a mobile security survey revealing smartphone consumer’ mobile behaviors, habits, and concerns about privacy. Check out the results below!
Did any of these results surprise you?
The LG G2 is becoming my favorite smartphone so far! The features and performance are amazing and make my on-the-go life so much easier.
