I have had such a rough time with my skincare ever since I started wearing makeup. I am more prone to breakouts, I get dry patches on my face around my t-zone, and my face is almost always dry. I haven’t tried many skincare products in the past other than your typical facial cleaner, just because I felt like it would do more damage than good. Then I discovered Acure organics.

Acure Organics is founded on sustainable principles to provide the highest quality fair trade, natural, and certified organic personal care products. Their products are free of animal testing, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives and artificial colors. I recently had the opportunity to try a few products from Acure Organics, and I was very pleased.

The Acure Facial Cleanser that I tried features moisturizing organic olive oil, argan oil, and cocoa butter as well as the antioxidant power of blackberry, rosehips, and mint. I used the facial cleanser every other day to quickly remove makeup and other impurities. The facial cleanser was really soft and gentle on my face yet strong enough to give me a deep clean feeling. I will note that I did breakout after my first use with this product, but it went away after 3 days of continued use. I wasn’t very pleased with the scent of the argan either. It was too strong for my liking, but didn’t stop me from using the product itself, which I thought was great overall. There is a facial cleanser for sensitive skin as well, made with organic argan oil, probiotics and pumpkin seed oil.

Both Facial Cleansers retail for $14.99 each.

The Acure Organics toner is perfect for irritated skin because it is super hydrating and alcohol-free. It’s made with organic chamomile and calendula to calm pores and soften the skin. The toner doesn’t strip the skin’s natural acidity, is very moisturizing and evens the skin tone. You can apply the toner twice a day for best results.

The sensitive facial moisturizer really helped keep my skin hydrated so far this winter. I use it both during the day and before I go to sleep. It features organic chamomile and probiotics to help alleviate redness and inflammation and also has organic argan oil to provide moisture. 1% Chlorella growth factor and argan stem cells provide cellular rejuvenation and collagen support. The formula was easily absorbed by my skin and wasn’t greasy at all. I didn’t enjoy the smell, but I think that’s from the argan oil. It kept my face hydrated all day long.

The Coconut Pumpkin Body Wash smelled great and felt really nice on my skin. It hydrated my skin and is made with omega organic argan oil, organic pumpkin, and cell boosting argan stem cells. It smelled like coconut but wasn’t too overpowering, and did a great job of washing away the dirt and left my skin feeling flawless.

And last, but not least and by the way my favorite of the entire bunch, the Mandarin Orange & Moroccan Argan Stem Cell Advanced Triple Moisture Body Lotion! I used this body lotion right after getting out of the shower and right before I went to sleep. It easily hydrates my body and leaves it feeling silky smooth. It restores the brightness and rejuvenates my skin. The formula is non-greasy and absorbs fairly quickly. I loved the way this one smelled, you can really get the mandarin orange scent right away, it was wonderful. I loved this body lotion and would easily buy it again.
