I don’t give Zach candy very often. I like to fill his diet with healthy snacks that are good for him and his growing body like fruit, vegetables, and nuts. You’d be surprised how creative you can get to ensure your little ones get their daily dose of recommend nutrients.
I’ve opted to give Zach a small piece of candy lately for good behavior, however I do make sure the candies I give him are made from ingredients I can actually pronounce and not loaded with artificial junk. One of my favorites brands of organic candy, YumEarth, makes their varieties with healthy ingredients, free of artificial dyes and high fructose corn syrup. The YumEarth line of candies are made from real fruit extracts and planet-friendly ingredients grown on sustainable family farms.
You’ll find that YumEarth candies are gluten free, peanut-free, tree-nut free, soy-free, fat-free and are 100% vegan and made with 100% natural flavors. They offer a wide variety of products include lollypops, sour beans, candy drops, gummy bears, and the newest to their line, fruit snacks!
This back to school, kids will go bananas for the new YumEarth organic fruit snacks. They are made with real fruit juice and parents can have a peace of mind knowing their kids are getting a healthy snack. The organic fruit snacks are great to include in your child’s lunch box or backpack for an afternoon treat. We love the new fruit snacks from YumEarth. Each variety pack comes with 5 snack packs and each snack pack has about 8 fruit snacks inside. The flavors were yummy and Zach-approved. Flavors included banana, cherry, strawberry, and peach. They weren’t sticky like other fruit snacks we’ve tried and they weren’t too chewy or tough, they were perfect. The organic fruit snacks are definitely something I would buy again for Zach.
Halloween is just around the corner and YumEarth has their organic lollypops in new Halloween packaging. The packaging is really cute with the orange, black, and purple Halloween theme. I like the replacement of the children on either side of the packaging with the witch and skeleton holding onto the lollypops instead. The flavors for the organic pops include: pomegranate pucker, wet-face watermelon, strawberry smash, goggly grape, very very cherry, perfectly peach, razzmatazz berry, mango tango. I really like the strawberry smash and wet-face watermelon flavors the most. I’m going to buy some more of these from Target and pass them out to the trick-or-treaters that come this year because they’re such a great and healthy alternative.
We loved trying the new products from YumEarth. The sour beans and candy drops were definitely Zach’s favorites. I really loved the candy drops because they’re really small and perfect for giving Zach as a treat for good behavior during the day. After trying these treats, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to buying other candies that aren’t organic and made from real ingredients. Trying these products from YumEarth certainly opened my eyes to what I’m going to buy for my son in the future. The best part is that these candies actually taste better than other ones I’ve tried. Bonus!
