Now that summer is coming to an end, it’s time to get into back-to-school mode. At our house, that means lots of shopping for school supplies, sports equipment, clothing and more. One thing that never fails to make our back-to-school shopping list is Wet Ones!
While my son is too young to be starting school at 2 years old, I have already started my fall semester classes. My younger brothers will be starting school tomorrow so we are all geared up to be back in school. My school schedule is not as chaotic as it was last semester, but even so I make sure I’m prepared for anything that can happen during the day.
I have my school supplies and books for each class, an umbrella in my backpack in case it rains unexpectedly, my tupperware for lunch and snacks, and most importantly, my Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes. These babies conveniently live in the pocket of my purse so I can use them whenever I need to– before and after eating, after a chemistry lab, after blowing my nose/sneezing, etc.
All three of my younger brothers are playing organized sports this year so it’s important for us to keep them as healthy as we can and away from germs during the school-year. I like to keep some Wet Ones travel wipes in their sports bags so they can use them before and after practice. The boys like to go out to eat together after practice, so it’s important for them to use Wet Ones on the go when soap and water are not available.
Wet Ones Joins Forces with Teachers!
We all know it takes a lot to keep a classroom stocked with supplies throughout the school year. Often times teachers send students home with a list of supplies they can contribute to the classroom so that each child has enough supplies for the year. Wet Ones is a proud supporter of teachers through their partnership with TeacherLists.com, a service that helps teachers connect with their parents around classroom needs.
Since joining forces with TeacherLists.com in 2012, Wet Ones has donated 15,000 products to teachers all across the country as a jump start to getting their wish lists filled. How nice is that! My 4 year old niece starts school this year and my sister is going to send her with some Wet Ones products for their classroom.
Tips for Back to School Routines
I feel like I’m still in summer mode though, with the nice summer weather we have, but here are some things I like to do to help me transition into the school year.
- Start a bedtime routine a week or two before classes start so you can start winding down and get into “school-mode”.
- Pack my lunches and snacks 1-3 days in advance so you don’t have to worry about making bad decisions during hectic schedules.
- Keep enough Wet Ones in your purse, backpacks, and lunch bags so you can stay germ-free at all times.
