Honeywell Energy Smart 360 Surround Heater

The heating system in my basement has been such a fail this winter, that none of us dared to stay down there for longer than a half hour at a time (to do laundry). We usually love hanging out in the basement because it’s furnished, but it was just too cold for us this winter. The Honeywell Energy Smart 360 Surround Heater was the best thing to happen to our basement this winter. The small, yet powerful heater kept our basement so warm.

My favorite feature of the Honeywell Surround Heater is the 360° SafetyTip. This shuts off the heater if it’s tipped in any direction. I was really worried before using this heater that Zach would tip it over at night and then if we left it on it could possible cause a fire. But when I learned that it automatically turns off when tipped over, I was so relieved. It also features a extra-wide, sturdy base to keep it from tipping over on its own.

The heater is very easy to use. It comes with simple manual controls and a 3-heat setting for energy efficient heating, including “fan only” setting as well. It also has an adjustable thermostat so you can choose your desired heating preference. It also has a convenient carrying handle.

The fan-forced heat circulation allows the entire room to be heated over a period of time. I usually turn on the heater at night and leave it on for an hour or two and it keeps our basement pretty warm. I would honestly never stay in our basement because it’s so cold, but this heater helps!

I would love to try the SoftHeat Ultra Back Heat Wrap, because my back hurts all day every day and I think this might take the edge off some!! I’d like the Honeywell HPA-245 UV True HEPA 5-in-1 Tower. I’d like this heater because our duct work is funky in our house and it only runs the main hallway, leaving the kitchen, master bathroom (which is freezing in the winter), and laundry room without any heat/AC. I’d love this to warm up the bathroom and laundry room when we are using them!

I’d love to try any of the cool mist humidifiers, especially the Honeywell brand ones. I’d like to win this because my gas bill is outrageous in the winter because I get so cold and crank the furnace up. It’d be nice to have a small heater to keep near me so I could leave the thermostat alone!
