Tuna Salad Bites Featuring 34 Degrees Crisps + Giveaway

One of my favorite foods to have for lunch is tuna salad. It’s convenient, easy to make, and full of protein. I usually eat it in the form of a sandwich, but I wanted to try something different.
I was recently given the chance to review some products from 34 Degrees and thought I’d incorporate their crisps into my latest tuna salad recipe. For these tuna salad bites, you’re going to need to get your hands on some of the 34 Degrees Crisps (I will talk more about later). You will also need tuna, celery, lettuce, cucumbers, mayonnaise, and salt & pepper.
Chop the celery and mix it in with the tuna, mayonnaise, salt & pepper. Then, slice up some cucumbers to stack on top of the crisps, and chop some lettuce too. Once all of your prep work is done, start stacking. First, line a plate with your 34 Degrees Crisps and then add 1 slice of cucumber on top of each crisps. Scoop some tuna salad on top of the cucumbers and top with lettuce.
These make a great appetizer, or if you’re going to have more than one, a good lunch option!
34 Degrees Crisps

34 Degrees Crisps are light, crispy, wafer-thin crackers that are all-natural and delicious. They come in five savory flavors including: Natural, Sesame, Cracked Pepper, Rosemary, and Whole Grain. They are made using a handful of natural ingredients and care carefully baked until toasty, giving them the perfect crunch. 34 Degree Crisps are perfect to pair with cheese, salsa, chicken salad, hummus, and so much more.
Best part is, 1 serving of 34 Degrees Crisps is 9 crackers, all for less than 1 gram of fat! How awesome is that. Now you don’t have to feel guilty when snacking.
I received 4 of the 5 flavors of 34 Degree Crisps to try out and I had a great time coming up with new recipes and new ways to incorporate them into my meals and snacks. You can see the 34 Degrees Crisps featured in my Spicy Salsa Recipe I made just in time for the Super Bowl.
What I loved about the 34 Degree Crisps were that they were crispy and very sturdy, so I could essentially have them with any dip I could think of. When I made my tuna salad bites, I was expecting the crisps to fall apart after biting into them, but they actually held together! So, when I took a bite of my tuna bites, the crisp was still intact and still holding up the rest of the cucumber and tuna salad that was on top. I was really impressed.
My favorite crisps of these flavors was the Rosemary and Whole Grain. I loved the rosemary crisps because the flavor was not overpowering and it was great to pair with the tuna bites. I loved the whole grain crisps for my salsa dip because it provided the perfect base and didn’t take away from the taste of my salsa at all. It was delicious! The other crisps were good, too, but I think if I wanted to purchase any in the future I would go straight for the Rosemary and Whole Grain!

February 13, 2013 at 3:35 pm (100 days ago)That looks really yummy. I love tuna. Its easy and nutritious. Its one of the few things I pack for my kids that they don’t complain about. That is something you can look forward to. Packing your son’s lunch every morning and then him coming home complaining about it. Ohh.. the joys of motherhood ;)
