Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Bottles and Designed To Nourish Line Review
When choosing the best products for your baby it’s important to keep in mind products that promote good health and optimal nutrition. Dr. Brown’s provides a line of baby bottles, training cups, pacifiers, solid feeding, and teething products that are a great option for your baby.

I received 2 Dr. Brown’s glass baby bottles and 1 Dr. Brown’s plastic baby bottle as well as some products from the Designed to Nourish line. The Dr. Brown’s baby bottles are known for reducing colic while preserving the vitamins found in breast milk and formula. Each Dr. Brown’s bottle features a patented 2-piece vent system that prevents air from mixing with the breast milk or formula. This method minimizes oxidation and helps preserve essential nutrients like vitamins C, A and E.
The Dr. Brown’s baby bottles provide a vacuum-free feeding that is similar to that of breastfeeding which allows them to nurse without fighting the discomfort of ingesting air bubbles. Ultimately, the Dr. Brown’s baby bottles help reduce colic, spit-up, burping, and gas. I’ve noticed that while using these bottles with Zach, he doesn’t burp or has as much gas as he does with traditional bottles. As soon as I switched back to a traditional bottle I noticed that he was burping more, ultimately complaining of a belly ache.
I think the Dr. Brown’s bottles would be especially helpful for newborns, in fact I think that this would have been a life saver back when Zach was born. He had horrible colic that I couldn’t control and the Dr. Brown’s baby bottles would have helped tone it down. One thing that I didn’t like about the Dr. Brown’s baby bottles was that even though the venting system worked amazingly, there are a lot of components to the bottle’s venting system that made cleaning it a hassle. Besides this minor issue, I think the Dr. Brown’s Flow Bottles are great.
Designed To Nourish Line

The Designed to Nourish line of products for infants and toddlers was designed to support parents with products that make it easy to offer the best food to babies. The line includes products like snack cups, portioned plates, training cups, bowls, and even utensils. There is also a blender, food masher, food storage pods, and labels available to help make preparing food for your toddler a breeze.
I received 4 snack cups, 4 utensils, and 2 portioned plates from the Designed to Nourish line. My favorite product of the group is definitely the snack cups. The snack cups are perfectly portioned in such a way that makes arranging and storing snacks easier than ever. What I love the most about the snack cups is that they are small enough to fit in my diaper bag without taking up too much room, and they can even be stacked onto of one another to take up less space. They are also leak-free and spill-proof.
The utensils from the Designed to Nourish line include a 4-pack of spoons that come in a variety of bright colors. What I love about the spoons is that the tall handles allows them to reach the bottom of taller baby food jars. The unique spatula edge also allows me to scoop out all of the baby food, unlike traditional rounded spoons. The spatula shape allows parents to wipe the food from baby’s mouth in a instant.
Lastly, the divide plates from the Designed to Nourish line arrive in a 2-pack box and come in a variety of colors like the utensils. The divided plates are the perfect size for toddler portions, as there are three sections in each plate. What I love about these divided plates is that the curved sides of each section of the plate makes it easier to feed the baby and the non-skid base at the bottom of the plates allows them to stay on the table without sliding.
All products from the Dr. Brown’s Designed to Nourish line and other products are BPA-free and are designed to promote healthy eating habits at an early stage. The Designed to Nourish line of products is a must-have for parents with toddlers or infants that are transitioning to solid foods. We enjoyed trying out the Dr. Brown’s products and I would definitely recommend them to others!
Disclosure: I received the above mentioned products to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
