Adams Smart Shield Review and #Giveaway
I love my dog. He’s my little Doodlebug. However, what I don’t love, is having to do all the time-consuming things required of me as a pet owner. Take for instance giving him a bath. Even though he’s part Labrador and LOVES the water (I even bought him a kiddie swimming pool for the summer time), he’s somehow petrified of the shower head. And, he just stands there with his tail between his legs like a big scaredy cat. Don’t even get me started on the task of drying him off. He’s like a speeding bullet the second the water is turned off. I have to somehow grab a towel and hold him down before he decides to shower me in the (slightly less) stinky wet dog smell as he shakes the water off his coat. I swear, he does that stuff on purpose.

At first, I’ll be honest, I was a little bit confused as how to operate the Adams Smart Shield, but…admitedly, after reading the directions, it became much clearer.
You just put the little cartridge of the Flea & Tick Spot On into the Adams Smart Shield, snap it shut, and you are ready to help your baby fight against flesh-eating, and scratch inducing pests! It was super easy, and super quick! Zappa (my dog) didn’t even know when I had started verses when I had finished.
The Adams Smart Shield even let me leave grease-free! That is, at least, until I was stupid enough to snuggle up with the little Doodlebug, and get it all over my face. But, I guess I can look at it in the most opportunistic manner; now I don’t have to worry about ME getting ticks or fleas either! I can go – worry free – into the woods with my Zappa!

I go pretty ballistic if fleas or ticks are in the house – at all. Poor pups get bath after bath until I know they are dead and gone. So I’d like to have their Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Precor®. Both JC, my standard poodle and I have both gotten sick from tick bites (I was in bed for 3 months from mine) so this stuff is just a necessity in our home.
