Hi! My name is Genevieve and I’m the owner/crafter behind LuBeth Designs on Etsy. I have been married to my sweetie, Paul, for 14 years and together we have 3 great kids. Lauren is 14, Noah is 11 and Bethany is 7. We make our home in northeastern Ohio. I’ve been crafting for years. I really enjoy making things for my house, my kids, my friends, my family…it’s almost like therapy…using creativity helps me to take a deep breath & step back from things for a little while & when I’m done I have something completed AND (hopefully) pretty! I’ve been specifically making jewelry for family and friends for about five years, but didn’t decide to begin selling it until earlier this year. I have some great encouraging friends who have helped get my little business off the ground locally and it has been a gratifying experience! The next logical step seemed to be to open an Etsy shop. Right now I have lots of jewelry & accessories that showcase my rolled fabric rosettes; chunky beaded watch bands and watch faces; vintage inspired cabochon necklaces and I just added some pretty headbands…my brain is always working on new ideas, so new products are added fairly frequently…I love custom orders, so if you’d like something special all you’d have to do it let me know & we’ll work on the perfect accessory for you together! Living in northeastern Ohio means that we see lots of chilly gray days & not a whole lot of sun for much of the year. Making jewelry that brings brightness & color into people’s lives has become very satisfying for me & helps to remind me that brighter days are on their way!

Up for review, I received this beautiful Mustard Posie Necklace from LuBeth Designs. Genevieve has been working on her new line of Posie necklaces for the fall season, and this was one from the new collection. I love the fresh color. It goes so well with this season’s fashion. You can wear this necklace with a simple t-shirt and jeans or you can wear this with a super cute fancy dress. I wear this when I’m feeling fancy and dress up, it adds the perfect touch.
This necklace is made with 6 light mustard colored hand rolled kona cotton rosettes. The rosettes are attached to felt to help keep its shape and gives the necklace a secured sturdiness. It also adds to keep the necklace comfortable against your skin. These rosettes hang beautifully on a gunmetal chain, and are secured with a lobster clasp closure. This necklace is very lightweight and sits on a nice place on your chest, not too low and not too high. I personally don’t like wearing a necklace that sits too high, because I feel like it is choking me, so I was very pleased to see that this sits just perfectly. Overall, I just really love this necklace. It gives me a vintage touch to whatever outfit I’m wearing and it goes great with so many styles.
