Giveaway: JYB Designs Notebook & Coupon Code! (Ends 9/6)
I absolutely love working with Etsy shops for reviews and giveaways because I love the personal touch that comes with each piece. Today’s giveaway is from JYB Designs! JYB Designs is a new Etsy shop that specializes in creating beautifully designed journals and jewelry. Jennifer, the owner, carefully crafts each journal and jewelry item, adding personal touches for customers in mind. The Journals in her shop are some of my favorite items. They are very inspiring and have a vintage feel to them. I know it’s difficult for a lot of people to keep journals these days, but with a journal from JYB Designs, you would be inspired to write in it each day!
About The Designer:
I am 58 years young and love life and love people! I’ve been working with teens at our church for 25 years and can’t imagine doing anything else. I love teenagers! I have 7 grandchildren whom I adore! I’ve been sewing and doing crafts for years. My older daughter asked me to try jewelry making with her and I said, “Oh Joelle…I already do so many crafts.” She said, “Mom, I’ll buy the tools, you just buy enough beads for one necklace, okay?” I eventually gave in and I became addicted to beading! It’s such a relaxing thing for me. Beading and reading are my two favorite pastimes!
Here are some of my favorite journals from Jennifer’s Etsy shop. Like I mentioned, I love the vintage feel. Each of these journals incorporates a floral design as well as a striped pattern. These two design patterns work very well with each other, and Jennifer utilizes them very well. One of my favorite thing about these journals, that distinguishes them from others, is the secure button closure. The buttons Jennifer uses in each of these journals matches the designs very well. You can tell that she knows a lot about color schemes and what looks great together, because she is doing it right!
Up for review, I received a beautiful mini tablet from JYB Designs. The tablet is 8” x 5”. It is brown with blue accents and is decorated with designs that are chalk-like in style. The top of the tablet is decorated with a brown fabric, wrapped around the binding, and also has three buttons sewn to it. I love the buttons on this mini journal, it ties everything together. There are two inspiring pieces that this tablet reflects about friendship. The top reads, “Friends like you happen once in a lifetime” and the bottom reads, “I’m so glad you happened in my life”. Awe! Jennifer chose some really good quotes for this tablet, making it even more inspiring and wonderful to use. This tablet is perfect for writing notes and letters to your friends and family. It is small and can fit inside my purse, so I have it with me on the go in case I need to write things down during my trips. This is also great for writing grocery lists or even to-do lists. I find myself using this journal often. It is so beautifully designed and so very convenient!
